Following the failure of a course of NHS physiotherapy to resolve serious neck pain, I was recommended by a friend to try Alive Chiropractic.
I have used chiropractic regularly for about 40 years but couldn't afford to go when the neck problem started, instead, hoping that my GP referral to physio would help. It didn't! Not wishing to get on the drugs treadmill (pain killers, anti-inflammatory etc) I finally found the budget to start a fresh programme of care at Alive Chiropractic in Poundbury.
The standard of care has been excellent, with my diary of attendance carefully curated around my busy work schedule. Being set up with a personalised app containing my appointment diary and maintenance exercises has been very simple to use.
My personal programme involved not just chiropractic care, but also therapeutic massage and personal trainer input. This has helped me rebuild my stressed body at my own pace.
Not losing my evenings after work to the misery of neck pain has given me lots more energy and we're now able to move on to help other areas of my spine which were injured in an accident 2 years ago.
Setting payments up monthly has made budgeting easier and appointments quicker, not having to worry about processing payments after treatments. Great service, fantastic care, I recommend Alive to anyone wanting to take control of their mobility.

My Journey with Alive has been phenomenally life changing! I had severed pain in my neck and shoulder on and off for years, despite years of yoga and physio. I tried everything to ease the pain. Nothing worked until i found Edo and Phil. Together with there expertise i am back to full recovery and living pain free. After suffering with lower back pain for a few years, and seeing a Facebook ad I thought I'd give it a go.
Very comfortable process. I still do suffer but after 12 sessions I feel better and have been given a great foundation to build on with consistent exercise. I will 100% be returning for check ups.
I also had a few sports massage sessions with Amelia which I would highly recommend.

I can’t recommend this practice highly enough. In just a few short weeks, I’ve gone from having very limited movement and constant discomfort to being pain-free and enjoying a much better quality of life.

I am very happy with my experience at Alive Chiropractor, Edo is very friendly and knowledgeable. I had been in upper back and neck pain for a considerable amount of time probably partly due to years of VDU work, after a couple of visits I realised a significant difference and improvement which has gradually improved over several sessions assisted by amazing deep muscle massages from Phil which released a lot of muscle tension. Being so much more pain free than before I would definitely recommend Edo and his team.

I’m so delighted I found Alive (through solid recommendation). It is an absolute pleasure coming here to see Edo and Amelia (seeing Phil next week). We first went to Edo for my husband, but as we were talking I realised that I had a lot of the issues that were being discussed. Edo has help me with my movement and I'm walking quicker. He has shared his knowledge in many ways to helped with our general health to keeping fit as we get older. My husband has also gain better movement. We would definitely recommend. I was suffering with pain in my right shoulder, extending down my arm. Eduardo did a thorough exam and explained what he thought was happening and the cause.
With adjustments and exercises from Eduardo and some physio massage from Phil & Amelia that is now gone and my posture, generally, is greatly restored - feeling much better!
Edo suggested some ongoing exercises and maybe an occasional review to keep on top of things.

I visited Alive back in January for a free consultation and opinion for my regular migraines and knee pain due to a physically challenging job. The team was friendly and welcoming. Edo who did the assessment then recommended a 3 month plan of treatments including adjustments and massage therapy. Alive Chiropractor , Edo Comes to us , we live 8 miles from Dorchester. He works his Chiropractic magic on my 96 year old mother. She needs this to enable her to walk with a zimmer. Amazingly she is out of her wheelchair. I highly recommend Edo. He is very knowledgeable & professional. Mum is living an independent life. She even woke me up at 3am To go dancing!!!!

I was first introduced to Alive Chiropractic two years ago when I was in a lot of neck and shoulder pain. It was then detected that my pelvis needed adjustment. Alive Chiropractic have worked on these areas so I now suffer very little pain , this is because I receive monthly maintenance appointments. There is no reason to be in pain as Alive Chiropractic are always at the end of a phone. I am currently suffering from sciatica which again is now being treated.

When I first visited Edo, I was struggling with poor posture and persistent back pain. In a surprisingly short period, my posture improved dramatically—I now stand up straight effortlessly, something I never thought possible. The constant upper back pain I had has almost completely gone. Edo's approach to treatment is very holistic, he doesn’t just treat the symptoms but provides guidance to achieve overall improved health and well-being. I have just completed an intense package of chiropractic correction treatments and had some deep tissue massage therapy into the 2nd Month, I can honestly say what a huge difference it’s made to me, my alignment pre and post treatment has been significant!

I have been a patient of the Alive Chiropractor clinic for the last six weeks. Following a stroke in March 2022 I had been suffering with a walking imbalance and general lack of mobility. I would say that my improvement stands somewhere between 60-70% already. I would happily recommend the clinic to anyone that is suffering to book themselves an appointment.

After visiting Dr. Edoardo at the Alive chiropractic clinic, I booked a block booking of 12 sessions. From start to finish he made me feel very comfortable, and as each session went on i began to feel much better within myself.
As well as the work he done with me in the clinic, he has taught me many different exercises to help me with the problems in which i suffer with, as well as explaining to me how my diet can also help me going forward.

I’ve been adjusted by Dr Edoardo for a number of years now, since I’ve been under care I’ve never had any problems but most importantly he helps me keep my nervous system healthy through maintenance care which allows me to be more in control in all of my day to day activities and keeps my mind healthy. This is my first experience with chiropractic ever, and it has been life changing! I have a slipped lumbar disc and I was in lots of pain and had very limited mobility. I saw Edo for a few appointments and not only did my back get better, it has stayed that way since! I am doing the exercises he prescribed and now I am only seeing him for maintenance and I feel better than ever, more relaxed and aware of my posture overall . Dr. Edo has a very calm temperament and his knowledge aids in your own relaxation, which is a help when your own flexibility, mobility or posture are far from relaxed. Sam, the Chiropractic assistant, is the first person to greet you when you arrive and will explain the fundamentals of the practice. The practice is clean, modern and has ample road side parking. All my life I’ve had bad posture and bad back I’ve been to doctors specialists and always same outcome I’ve got to live with it. At the age of 58 I went to this practice and he has done wonders this is the best I have ever been since I can remember. Highly recommend

I attended Alive chiropractor after seeing a special offer they were offering and suffering from a bad back for a long time it felt like a good idea to go see what they said. Since this I have been attending twice a week and the improvements are happening. Edo is very knowledgeable and really wants the best for you he doesn't just care about the back or other pains you may be having but also acknowledges the impact these things can have on you emotionally and personally. I can't recommend this service enough.

Regular sessions with Dr Edo at Alive Chiropractic have made such a big difference to my posture, my way of working at my desk and taught me how to manage my breathing, all of which have led to a big shift in my mindset towards looking after myself and my body.

I have just finished initial treatment for my back problem. Appointments with the NHS in the past have never resulted in a diagnosis let alone treatment. However at Alive I received a diagnosis and treatment plan on the initial consultation. This set out exactly how I was going to be treated and cost. Following the treatment I could not be healthier or happier. An exceptionally professional service in which Dr Edoardo Elisei seems passionate about what he does. It is more than just a hands on treatment on his 'couch', but a full lifestyle treatment ensuring exercises and diet are in balance to assist recovery and as a preventative for the future. I would be happy to recommend to anyone.

Edo is a great professional, very friendly and knowledgeable. He corrected my posture in only few months, he said this was going to happen and I couldn't believe it, it was so fast and happened, the changes not only I could feel them but also you can see them. He did the adjustments with a lot of care, with a lot of patience he took the time to give the advices and exercises that I could benefit my posture in the future. I totally recommend him.

When I first met Dr Ed I had problems bending, and worst of all I could hardly move my neck. I was a total painful wreck.
Ed takes a very holistic approach, encouraging me to lose weight and work on different rehab exercises to reinforce the manipulations and adjustments he made.
Here I am some three months on, I weigh a lot less, I have incredible flexibility in my lower back and can now touch my toes and, best of all. I have full flexibility of my neck.
Eds holistic approach really works, he is very approachable and easy to chat about things with.
One caveat, Ed knows when you haven't done your exercises so don't cheat. 🙂

I saw Edo in March and he was so informative regarding my spinal issues. I have had many treatments from him over the past few months and feel so much better and have more movement and less pain. He provides exercises for clients to help with strengthening muscles which is all part and parcel of chiropractic healing. I would recommend going to see him anytime.
